MY VIEW ON LEGACY!


Reaching the final pages of my memoir, I concluded what a legacy means to me.

I had always thought that the meaning of a ‘legacy’ was to leave something behind for your loved ones once you were gone, and I had always assumed it was all about materialistic things. I was wrong! Thinking it through, I realised that there is more to this subject than I previously thought. Legacy is also about how we lead our lives on this earth and the mark we leave behind once we’re gone. It’s about the goodness that you’ve brought to this world while living in it and the progress you’ve made trying to be the best you possibly can with the hope that you have finally made your mark by demonstrating that your children, grandchildren, and the people that you love and care about can be proud of you.
